The Crawford County Board of Supervisors approved a slate of appointments and reappointments during its Dec. 9 meeting. Motions carried by voice vote to reappoint Dwayne Zink to the law enforcement board (term through 12/31/26) and to reappoint Dr. Dennis Kravis as medical examiner (term through 12/31/27). The board also approved appointment/reappointment of Mary Knight to the conservation board (term through 12/31/30) and approved several medical-examiner investigator appointments.
Supervisors commented that some long-serving appointees have not filed recent applications and suggested establishing a consistent practice to collect applications for all appointments. No public comment on the appointments was on record.
The board recorded voice votes on each motion and indicated the chair cast an affirmative vote where required. Staff was asked to retain application materials and to ensure the county has continuity plans for positions such as the medical examiner.
