Crawford County supervisors approve $1.507 million transfer to secondary roads

Supervisor Kyle moved to approve the resolution; Supervisor Ty seconded, and the board voted in favor.
The transfer was presented by secondary roads staff as an annual December transaction used to supplement the department's operating and construction budgets. Supervisors discussed the county’s inspection program and a list of tentative projects for 2026, including work to address large-diameter culvert concerns and fabricating bridge components during the off-season to save construction time.
County staff said the transfer is routine and part of the county’s budgeting practice; no dissenting vote was recorded. The board directed staff to continue inspections and bring project prioritization back to the board as estimates are refined.
The board’s action is effective immediately pending any administrative follow-up required by the auditor’s office.
