Louisa County libraries ask board for modest budget increase after busy year

Library representatives requested the county consider a budget increase to sustain and expand programming, noting the libraries' role in citizenship assistance, outreach and community services. The board acknowledged the libraries' work and encouraged residents to use library services; no formal funding decision was made at the meeting.
