County official reads Nov. 4 municipal and school election results; board certifies totals

Jordan, elections staff for Dickinson County, read the official returns from the Nov. 4 city and school elections and presented the packet for board certification. "We had 14,247 registered voters, and out of that we had 2,047 people vote, which was 14.37% in Dickinson County," Jordan reported before enumerating mayoral, council and school-director totals for the county's municipalities and districts.
Board members moved to accept and certify the city and noncontrol school election results; the motion was seconded and carried on recorded 'aye' votes. Supervisors discussed logistics for signatures and distribution of official documents to respective cities and school districts and scheduled times for board members to sign required forms.
Jordan noted some upload and reporting issues with the Secretary of State's office and that a prior election director's recent death had complicated local staffing; staff said they would finalize outstanding reports and return corrected printouts to supervisors for signatures as needed.
