Staff agreed to schedule the advertisement to ensure adequate public notice and to provide a detailed bid package; the group discussed breaking labor and materials out of bids in some cases to reduce costs and increase flexibility.
Officials said they would publish the bid notice and return in the next meeting window with bids and cost estimates; no formal procurement award was made at the meeting.
