Morgan County seeks multiple quotes after Tech Center heating failures; court clears splash-pad contract contingent on review

On capital projects, the court approved a contract with Summit (Summon) Engineering for splash-pad design contingent upon Miles’ review of the contract. The motion explicitly required Miles to examine the legal/technical terms before the judge signs the contract. The court also approved payment to Worldwide Equipment for a new 2026 Kenworth tandem truck (financed through Keiko) at $181,966, following delivery and closing.
