The Otter Tail County Board appointed three members to the county probation advisory board on Dec. 2, filling three two-year terms that expired this year.
Probation Director Schomer told the board that five community members serve on the advisory board — one for each commissioner district — and said three members were up for reappointment. Commissioner Buckholtz (as referenced) selected Les Cundo for a second term, Commissioner Johnson selected Mark Docking for a third term and Commissioner Lawman selected Mike Windy for a third term. Schomer said the nominees "have been vocal, asking questions, providing insight and wanting to learn more about what we're doing." The board approved all three appointments in a single motion.
The appointments will allow the advisory board to continue providing district-level community input to the county's probation program.
