Marshall County proclaims Kentucky Extension Homemakers Week; local volunteers highlighted

Connie Connolly, who introduced herself as president of the Marshall County Extension Homemakers Advisory Council, told the court the county group represents four clubs, described their history and listed volunteer activities including stocking blessing boxes, a snack program for the family resource center and making scarves, gloves and hats for homeless residents and health-department programs. "We just, kinda like to spread it around in the community," Connolly said.
County staff read a proclamation that notes the Kentucky organization’s statewide membership and that Marshall County members completed significant volunteer hours in 2024–25. Judge Executive Kevin Spraggs then proclaimed the week.
