Bremer County approves base insurance renewal after ICAP presentation

Board members asked whether moving to a higher deductible or restricting collision coverage on older vehicles would be prudent. After discussion, a motion to approve the base renewal as presented was moved and carried by voice vote; staff will follow up with the ICAP representative on whether to add supplemental cyber coverage.
The board did not finalize any supplemental cyber coverage during the meeting and asked staff to return with specifics and costs before authorizing changes.
