The $1,007,860 grant for pump‑station rehab requires no local match, she said.
The board approved a professional services agreement to perform the due‑diligence work (Thomas & Hutton) that the county needs to advance the site and meet select‑site requirements. Staff indicated the previously earmarked county funds for the pump station could be reallocated to further site development once the state grant money is in hand.
Next steps: Thomas & Hutton will perform entitlement and due‑diligence tasks under the approved contract. Staff will report back on contract finalization and how county funds will be reallocated to continue site advancement.
