Meeting participants voted to accept F3 Construction's $33,451.07 quote to replace three windows and a walk-in door at a shop, and participants confirmed the work will be paid from FEMA-related funds.
The decision came after Speaker 2 presented three bids: Poplin at $33,683.38, F3 at $33,451.07 and Hoffman about $232.31 higher than F3. Speaker 2 said Hoffman would be able to start within three weeks; Speaker 2 also noted the windows would take about four weeks to arrive because they must be ordered to fit.
Speaker 1 moved to accept F3's quote; Speaker 2 seconded the motion. During the voice vote Speaker 1 called for the ayes, three affirmative responses were recorded and Speaker 1 announced, “Motion carried.” The approved work package includes three windows and a walk-in door and will include a locked door.
Speaker 3 raised the funding question, saying, “And just a little bit, Ben, this is coming out of that FEMA stuff. Correct?” Speaker 2 confirmed the project will be paid from FEMA-related funds.
The meeting was brief and concluded after a unanimous voice vote to adjourn.
