Commission approves $35,300 county share to reroute Baker Boy sewer line for roundabout work

White said KLJ produced engineering, the work was bid and the county’s 50 percent equals $35,300; he noted a $1,500 additional premium to upsizing from a 3‑inch to a 4‑inch line would be prudent.
Commissioner White moved to approve $35,300 and Commissioner Claris seconded; the board agreed to pay from the Dickinson County shop capital improvement account and the motion passed by roll call.
County staff and the Baker Boy representative said the larger diameter prepares the line for future upgrades and that the joint funding model reflected prior agreements between the parties.
