Commission approves $48,000 to continue county parking-ramp rehabilitation

Commissioners asked about the parking fund balance and the likely scope of Phase 2 work (door replacement for stair towers, targeted concrete repairs and perimeter handrail work). Staff confirmed Phase 2 would draw on remaining ARPA-eligible construction funds for the capital work but that the professional-services payment must come from the parking fund. The commission approved the $48,000 amendment by voice vote.
Staff said they will pursue the Phase 2 repairs identified in the Walker study until available funds are expended.
