Commissioners approve road repairs, closures and advertise multiple water project RFQs

The Board of Trumbull County Commissioners approved multiple infrastructure items affecting townships across the county.
The board concurred with the county engineer to close North Leavitt Road in Warren Township between Caulfield Road and Bosworth Road for a sanitary sewer project from Nov. 13 through Nov. 28, 2025, with the road open after working hours and on weekends. Commissioners approved a road repair agreement with Select Water Solutions LLC for improvements to 978 feet of McMullen Street in Brookfield Township.
Commissioners authorized the president of the board, Richard Hernandez, to sign and accept substantial completion of the Perkins Jones Road sanitary and sewer improvements project (2-S-24) in Bezzetta Township. The board also authorized advertising for statements of qualifications or letters of interest for consultant engineering services for Still Wagon Road (1-WD-19), Williams Drive Water Improvements (4-W-24) and package plant conversion projects (Vienna and B&K plants) in several townships.
Each infrastructure item was moved, seconded and approved by unanimous vote during the meeting.
