Seneca County commissioners approve supplemental appropriations, contracts and MOU agreements
Summary

The Seneca County Board of Commissioners approved a package of routine appropriations, contracts and memoranda of understanding at its Dec. 16 meeting.
Finance staff requested two supplemental appropriations: $25,000 for inmate-center medications (a grant associated with the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board) and $2,382.96 for county employee-health fund administrative fees; the board moved, seconded and approved the appropriations by roll call.
The board also approved a resolution to contract with a domestic-violence shelter to provide case management and homeless-prevention services on behalf of Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services, and separately authorized a contract with Fry Mechanical for HVAC improvements at the Seneca County Museum.
Commissioners approved a memorandum of understanding addressing child-abuse and neglect and developmental-disabilities coordination between local agencies and Seneca County Job and Family Services (ORC sections were cited on the record), and approved an inter-county memorandum of understanding with Ottawa and Sandusky counties to coordinate the process of withdrawing from the regional solid-waste district.
Other routine actions included a resolution reducing a conservation-district ditch maintenance assessment by 50% for a property owner identified in the record, and setting dates for sealed bids on a chiller replacement at Seneca County Job and Family Services (pre-bid Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.; bid opening Dec. 30 at 10 a.m.). Each item was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
