The commissioners approved several interdepartmental transfers and appropriations. Actions recorded in the meeting included:
- A $1,227,000 appropriation to the auditor’s department for group insurance and workers’ compensation premiums, described as covering SEDCO payments through 2025 and expected premium increases.
- A $1,000,000 appropriation from ACGP grant funds for the Wilson project after county planning reported the project was progressing faster than anticipated.
- A transfer of $406,263.14 to capital improvements for service center renovations.
- An appropriation of $41,700 from the general fund to the clerk of courts to cover group insurance, Medicare and PERS fringe benefits for 2025.
- Payment approval for $30,427.64 in workers’ compensation related to poll workers.
