County planning staff updated the commission on administrative matters: the Board of Commissioners approved the commission’s recommendation on a joint-jurisdiction boundary amendment and the change will take effect after the publication and referendum process. Staff also said the Board will consider several planned development applications at its next meeting and that the planning commission will hold a joint meeting with the City of Sioux Falls next month; staff noted a proposed bylaw amendment to set the joint meeting for the third Monday of each month.
