The Brown County Board of Commissioners approved a recommendation from the entertainment and fair board to standardize ticketing for the county fair’s concerts and to focus on one main headliner each night.
Fairgrounds/Parks Manager Rachel Gipley told commissioners the entertainment board’s strategy would move toward uniform single-concert tickets Wednesday through Saturday and toward booking one large headliner nightly rather than varying weekday pricing. Gipley said the board had already discussed the proposal and that pricing adjustments were recommended.
A commissioner moved, another seconded and the commission approved the proposed ticket pricings by voice vote. Gipley said the fair board will return with confirmed artist bookings and more details ahead of the event.
