"We're gonna need this amendment done to continue the channel for the Kilgore Drainage Detention Extension up to Chambers Parkway for the second phase of the project," Speaker 11 said.
Commissioners discussed cost coverage and confirmed that available funds should be sufficient to cover the additional right‑of‑way work. The court approved the amendment by voice vote.
