Mister Trevino described the university's offerings and said representatives could meet with county staff to promote the programs. Commissioners asked county staff to coordinate outreach with other local institutions and review legal terms before finalizing the agreement.
Separately, commissioners approved routine procurements and budget adjustments: the purchase of a MAC MD7 grapple truck from Volvo/MAC Trucks for $210,000, transfers of surplus vehicles and equipment, and several budget adjustments (including items of roughly $15,000, $117,595 and $75,459.26); motions for these items carried unanimously. The court also ratified the county's use of the Tony Fosse facility for a veterans'family luncheon and accepted a state-forfeited PJ trailer for Precinct 2.
