The change was requested by the project developer to allow additional time to begin construction without forfeiting county tax abatement benefits.
Commissioner Powell moved to approve the revised Chapter 312 agreements for phase 1 and phase 2; Commissioner Vincent seconded the motion and the court approved both items by voice vote.
The court discussed processing the two items together and confirmed legal status to make the date adjustments. The agreements were read as amendments to the county's tax-abatement instrument for the project and will be incorporated into the county's record for the developer's phased project.
