Staff explained new poll‑pad functionality will allow an individual who has moved within the county to complete an SOR at the polling place, have their address immediately updated in the poll pad, and vote in their new precinct; the SOR must then be sent to voter registration for a permanent record update.

Outstanding issues: Staff asked commissioners to provide names of voters with known precinct problems so they can be included in logic and accuracy checks 48 hours before the election. The elections office also sought confirmation that written SOR and provisional ballot procedures be added to the commissioners’ binders.
