The board asked county staff and APB to produce a clear communication plan (door hangers, emails, postcards, a hookup timeline and a map), and requested APB attendance at the county’s broadband committee or a January meeting to provide an operational briefing.
County staff reported daily crew reports exist but said the reports are not tied to a single macro plan. Supervisors asked that APB provide maps of planned and completed miles and a schedule for subscriber hookups—particularly to ensure residents receive promotional pricing notices (the discounted $99 offer) in time to take advantage of them.
No formal enforcement action was taken at the meeting; supervisors discussed making a board request or resolution for the requested reporting if APB does not provide the information voluntarily.
