Officials flag resale concerns after enterprise lease-back of county vehicles

Unidentified Speaker 5 said this discrepancy is a negative development and pledged the county will not allow Enterprise to sell vehicles that the county still owns; instead, staff will clean and list county-owned vehicles on the county surplus auction to retain higher sale proceeds. Enterprise will still sell leased vehicles that become their property.
Members also discussed timing and model choices for 2026 orders (pursuit vehicles and civilian units) and noted a planned meeting with Enterprise to address selling fees and the process.
