The Ulster County Economic Development, Planning, Education, Employment, Arts and Agriculture committee approved a slate of resolutions on Dec. 9, including a $770,000 contract to the Hudson Valley Agribusiness Development Corporation to administer an agriculture sustainability loan program.
Resolution 580 was taken out of order to accommodate Director Kevin Lynch, who described the contract as using funds originally designated under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and later rolled to lost-revenue allocations for the department. Lynch said the…
