The Passaic County Board of Commissioners took several routine formal actions during its Dec. 29, 2025 meeting.
Resolution authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to execute budget transfers between 2025 appropriations (pursuant to NJSA 48:4-58) was moved by Commissioner Bartlett, seconded by Deputy Director Lazare and approved by roll-call vote with all recorded "Yes" votes.
The consent agenda (items M2 through M74) was moved and seconded and approved by unanimous roll-call vote. Personnel items and payment of bills were similarly moved, seconded and recorded as approved by roll-call votes.
The chair opened the public portion and invited speakers to the podium; no members of the public spoke and the board voted to close the public portion (motion by Commissioner Duffy). The meeting adjourned after a clap-out honoring Director Pat Lapore.
All recorded roll-call votes reported in the transcript show affirmative votes from Commissioners Bartlett, Cruz, DeVore and Duffy, and from Deputy Director Lazare and Director Lapore where they participated in votes recorded by the clerk.
