Solid Waste director: fourth-quarter landfill inspection found no violations; construction on schedule

Tammy, introduced at the meeting as the department director, reported that the fourth-quarter landfill inspection found "no violations, no comments," and described overall conditions as satisfactory.

She told the board that a separate construction inspection by Mike Sonnefeld is on schedule. "We also had our construction inspection by Mike Sonnefeld, and everything's on schedule," Tammy said. She said the documentation package is submitted to IBM for certification and that "it usually takes 15 days for IBM to...certify that we can open it."

The director framed the remaining step as administrative: the department will await the IBM certification letter before changing operational status. There were no follow-up votes tied to the inspection report during the meeting.

The board did not request additional materials at this meeting. The next procedural step described by Tammy was to receive the formal certification letter from IBM before any operational changes are made.
