Commissioners pledge $10,000 to Parker Volunteer Fire Department for shelter generator

After back‑and‑forth about matching funds and the county’s role, the commissioners voted to allot $10,000 from EDIT funds to the Parker Volunteer Fire Department; the department said it would raise the remaining balance.
The motion passed by voice vote; commissioners asked that future, similar requests demonstrate need and include project specifics and matching plans.
