St. Lawrence County purchasing office opened a bid for waste-tire recycling (bid 2025Dash21) and received a single proposal from Get Her Done, Senior Fiscal Officer Stephanie Kirkley said.
Kirkley, senior fiscal officer for the St. Lawrence County purchasing office, announced the bid opening and identified the lone submission. "We've got 1 bid from Get Her Done," she said. "They're asking for $245 per ton." She also confirmed the bidder signed the collusion/attestation page and attached required permits, including permitting for the facility and hauling.
The bid opening is a routine procurement step for the county's solid waste department. Kirkley said there were no addendums to the solicitation and that county staff would follow up with the bidder if they had questions. No award or contract decision was made at the opening.
The county did not announce any tentative timeline for evaluation or award during the session. The purchasing office will review the submission for compliance and responsiveness before any recommendation to the appropriate approving body.
No public comment or competing bids were recorded during the opening.
