The Storey County Board approved three resolutions on Dec. 2 to identify unnamed road segments as county roads.
Public works staff presented the three resolutions and recommended adoption. Resolution 25‑806 identifies Story County Road 910240 (unnamed), located southeast of Virginia City and north of Nevada Highway 341; the resolution records a total horizontal length of 8,613 feet (about 1.63 miles) with an average disturbed width of approximately 14 feet and notes the designation does not impose county maintenance responsibilities. Commissioners adopted the resolution unanimously.
Resolution 25‑807 identifies Story County Road 910245, southeast of Virginia City and north of NV‑341, connecting to a previous RS 2477 road; total length was stated as 2,969 feet (0.56 miles) and average disturbed width approximately 16 feet. The board adopted the resolution by voice vote.
Resolution 25‑808 identifies Story County Road 911130, east of Virginia City and north of NV‑341 between 6‑Mile Canyon and Highway 341; staff said the segment measures 2,686 feet (0.51 miles) with an average disturbed width of about 12 feet. The board adopted the resolution unanimously.
Each resolution excludes portions of the roadway that lie on private property and clarifies the designation is of a minor county road available for public use but not maintained by the county.
