Supervisors discussed the county’s budget constraints — including a recent seven‑figure shortfall — and agreed to consider the request during the next budget cycle.
On a motion from the board, supervisors approved a $5,000 allocation from contingency funds to Spearhead Trails at the meeting; the board asked authority representatives to present a formal request to the budget committee for consideration in the coming fiscal year. No ongoing multi‑year commitment was arranged at the meeting.
