IT staff recommended a lower-tier option that they said would meet current needs and cited pricing around $36.41 per year with a $500 setup fee and a one-year contract. The committee proposed funding the first year from hardware/infrastructure lines and allocating ongoing costs across offices in the next budget cycle.
Board members noted active social-media accounts across several offices including the state's attorney, circuit clerk and sheriff and agreed the software will improve compliance and records retention. The board moved and approved the IT committee's recommendation during the meeting.
