County approves Proud City and JE Dunn contracts; bookmobile funded and arriving

Williams County commissioners on Dec. 2 approved two vendor agreements and were updated on a county-funded bookmobile purchase.
Administration requested approval of a Proud City contract to build and host a standalone fairgrounds website (one-time setup fee plus ongoing hosting). The board moved and unanimously authorized the chairman to sign the Proud City terms of service; staff said costs will be included in a forthcoming '26 budget amendment.
The board also approved a contract with JE Dunn, the sole bidder for the law enforcement center infirmary remodel, and authorized the chairman to sign. County staff said they will return with the guaranteed maximum price (GMP) once it is finalized.
Separately, staff reported that a new bookmobile—purchased with funds the county has been saving since 2022 under the joint library board arrangement—has arrived and a public ribbon-cutting is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. The county paid the vendor directly and will bill the Library Foundation for any remaining difference.
All contract approvals passed on unanimous roll-call votes.
