Williams County Park Board approves Nov. minutes and November financials; audit, buoy costs noted

The Williams County Park Board voted to approve minutes from its Nov. 18 meeting and to accept the November financial statement, the board confirmed in two roll-call votes during the meeting.

A motion to approve the Nov. 18 minutes was made, seconded and approved with the following recorded votes: Moe — Yes; Chris — Yes; Shanda — Yes; Barry — Yes; Brad — Yes; Steve — Yes; Corey — Yes. Later, the board moved and seconded approval of the November financial statement and the master-plan finance spreadsheet; the motion passed with Shanda, Barry, Brad, Steve, Corey, Beau and Chris recorded as voting Yes.

Park director Jeremy Ludland presented the financial packet and a master-plan finance update that had been handed out to the board. "The financial statement, monthly, or the November financial statement is attached in the packet," Ludland said, and he thanked staff member Lindsay for work on the spreadsheet used in the update.

Ludland also updated commissioners on a countywide audit that included the parks. He said the parks' share of the Williams County audit is expected to be about $2,000 and that audit documents and an invoice were attached in the meeting packet.
