The PSA lists three common violations Fairfax County Police most often cite: tailgating or following too closely, excessive lane changing or weaving, and speeding. The announcement warns that these behaviors increase crash risk and can carry stiff penalties under Virginia law.

The segment urged drivers to reduce risky behaviors — "Cut back on these and other bad aggressive driving habits and help make Fairfax County a better place to drive," the PSA said. It framed the guidance as a public-safety reminder rather than announcing new enforcement actions on the program.
