Reedsville Chamber marks 100th episode, says program fills local news gap

Steve Scott, president of Tri State Steel and guest host for part of the episode, emphasized the show's role in filling an information void.
'We live in Rockingham County right now. Unfortunately, we don't have daily or weekly newspapers,' Scott said, arguing that the chamber's program and Rockingham Update help residents learn about government, business and community events.
Sawyer and other guests said the show mixes profiles of small entrepreneurs, reports on civic projects and conversations with city leaders to give viewers regular updates that are not otherwise available locally.
The episode concluded with credits to the chamber staff and production team and an invitation for viewers to follow the program on social channels and visit the chamber at its downtown address.
