Madison County commissioners approve routine resolutions including AI policy, grant pass-throughs and contracts

The board adopted a county artificial-intelligence policy after a brief motion and roll call. The meeting also recorded approvals of contracts and appropriations for Job & Family Services, purchase of a bill counter, legal-services contracts and a PERS appropriations increase to cover year-end expenses.
Where staff provided more detail, commissioners recorded that conservatively: for instance, staff said the Mid Ohio pass-throughs include a Summerford sewer project funded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a Lot bank water project funded by the Ohio Department of Development—Water and Wastewater Infrastructure grant. Commissioners directed staff to document reimbursements accordingly.
