The presenter and other staff said warranty repairs would be handled through the vendor and routine maintenance would be assigned to county technicians or local partners.
A motion to accept the Lockmandy bid for the total package (figures discussed included $102,182.84 as the total package in the minutes) passed by voice vote. Council members noted the importance of documenting warranty coverage and where ongoing maintenance would be performed.
Next steps: Procurement staff will ensure the contract documents include warranty terms and a designated maintenance plan, and will provide the complete contract to the county auditor and clerk for recordkeeping.
