A Shelby County committee approved a resolution to purchase and install office furniture from Spaces Group for the Division of Planning and Development's offices at 125 North Main. The contract amount was read as not to exceed $103,195.21 and will be charged to FY2026 enterprise funds.
Nadia Logan Robinson, deputy director of the Division of Planning and Development, told commissioners the funds have been budgeted and that department staff were prepared to answer questions. Commissioner Sugarman asked whether the vendor is local and was told it is.
The committee moved and seconded the item and recorded aye votes from Commissioners Sugarman, Mills, Wright and Bradford; the committee gave the item a favorable recommendation.
