Bethel Park City Council on Dec. 8 voted unanimously to accept the resignation of Pam Dobos from the Shade Tree Commission and approved the evening’s consent agenda and bill list.

President Oakes moved to accept Dobos’ resignation, effective Nov. 30, 2025. The motion, seconded by Councilman Jenkins, drew brief public praise for Dobos’ long service on local boards before passing on an 8–0 roll call.

The consent agenda (items A–I) approved minutes, storm sewer pay application No. 5, two Bethel Trails bond‑reduction requests, Miners Park bathroom pay application No. 2, the Route 88 and Milford signal replacement change order (the council noted an $8,500 savings on that item), 2025 road program change orders and pay applications, and the 2025 sanitary sewer projects. President Oakes moved the consent agenda; the motion carried, 8–0.

Council also approved bill list 20251208 in the amount of $3,414,659.96. Council members noted the list included payments for waste management and the Elkasan Sewer Treatment payment; the motion carried on a roll‑call vote, 8–0.

The meeting record shows no dissenting votes on these items. The council moved on after taking the actions and continued with reports and other agenda items.
