Resident tells commissioners road grading on Road 17 is damaging ditches and properties

LaMillehan said pulling up ditch vegetation will lead to uncontrolled blowing dirt and property damage: “You're uncovering grass that's took years to grow and cover the ditch... You're opening up a can of worms you can't control,” she said, and offered to take staff to the farm to demonstrate the problem.
Commissioners acknowledged the comment during citizen participation; no immediate vote or motion was taken on roadway grading during the meeting. The remark was recorded as part of the public-comment docket and may inform future road-maintenance discussions.
