Crawford County commissioners on Jan. 6 read and signed a package of routine and personnel motions that included a transfer of county funds, an appointment to a juvenile advisory board, and a separation agreement.
Lisa, a county official who read the agenda motions aloud, listed items the commission moved to sign: motion 25-535 to approve the consent agenda; 25-536 to approve a quote from VMware for a maintenance renewal; 25-537 to recess into a 15-minute executive session to discuss individual job performance; a motion to award cereal malt beverage licenses to Joe's 1 Stop and Pickler's Chicken Annie's; 25-539 to transfer $50,000 from the operating reserve fund to EMS; 25540 to appoint Judge John Missouri as the judiciary representative to the juvenile corrections advisory board; 25-541 to adopt resolution number 2025-037; 25-542 to approve a separation agreement between Crawford County and David Luby; and 25-543 to recess to a 15-minute executive session for legal advice regarding budgets.
"First motion, 25 dash 5 3 5 to approve the consent agenda," Lisa said while reading the motions. The transcript records the motions being read and later signed; it does not provide a separate roll-call vote tally for each numbered motion in the hearing record. Where a specific vote was recorded on a subsequent item (see the Countryside Golf Course cereal malt beverage license), that outcome is noted in the relevant agenda item.
The motions cover a mix of administrative approvals, personnel matters and routine procurement or licensing actions. The separation agreement with David Luby and the appointment of Judge John Missouri to the juvenile corrections advisory board were included in the package as read to the commissioners.
The transcript does not include supporting documents or the full text of the resolution (2025-037) beyond the motion to adopt it; the meeting minutes or county clerk's office should be consulted for the full texts, specific vote tallies, and any conditions attached to the separation agreement or appointment.
The commission moved on to new-business items after the motions were signed.
