The Manheim Township School Board completed routine business Monday, approving a modified agenda, a set of consent-agenda items, a consulting contract and two student expulsions, and receiving a superintendent's report on enrollment and community calendar feedback.
The board first voted to modify the agenda to remove the personnel report from the consent agenda after a board member disclosed a potential conflict and said they would recuse from that vote. The modification motion carried.
The remaining consent-agenda items then passed by voice vote. The board later approved the previously pulled personnel report; that approval carried with one abstention recorded in the minutes.
Among items voted under section 8, the board approved minutes from recent meetings, and by separate motion approved a contract with Miles 2 Consulting LLC to provide school-based access program consulting services for the Manheim Township School District.
The board also ratified two confidential expulsion agreements and stipulations. The first (student 25-2026EADOT02) passed with no recorded opposition; the second (students 2025-2026 SEA.03) passed although at least one board member's dissent was recorded.
No detailed roll-call tallies for each item were printed in the meeting transcript beyond recorded "aye"/"nay" responses and an abstention. The board adjourned after announcing its next meeting on Dec. 1 at 6 p.m., when new board members will be seated and officers elected.
