County staff presented the annual renewal of the Peopleware agreement with Computer Information Concepts (CIC), the software the county uses for financial systems, and requested approval to pay the 2025 invoice.
County Administrator Kevin said the cost this year is $64,055 and represents a 2.91% increase over the prior-year charge. "This is already budgeted for," Kevin said, explaining that the invoice is being approved in accordance with county policy because of its cost.
A motion to approve the renewal and authorize staff to pay the invoice passed by voice vote. Commissioners asked no substantive questions during the discussion and acknowledged the software supports many county financial functions.
No additional contract terms, amendments or procurement alternatives were discussed during the meeting record. The meeting transcript does not include a copy of the invoice or supporting contract documents; staff indicated budgeted funds are available and the board authorized payment.
