Holiday fundraisers and benefit events in Jackson: Dream Builders NYE, Crystal Ball and Windows of Hope

Several Jackson-area nonprofits used the program to promote upcoming fundraising events and community drives.

Habitat for Humanity — Dream Builders New Year’s Eve: A Habitat representative described the Dream Builders event at Hub City Brewing, beginning at 9 p.m. with a Hollywood-glamour red carpet, lip-sync battles with public voting by dollar donations, a midnight balloon drop and fireworks across the street performed by the city. Proceeds will support local affordable housing and critical repairs for seniors; advance tickets were described as $30 each or two for $50, and $35 day of. Jackson Symphony League — Crystal Ball: Tracy King said the Crystal Ball is the Symphony League’s 25th annual legacy fundraiser to sustain education and youth programs, featuring auctions, dinner and the 12 South Band.
