The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District conducted two administrative roll-call votes during its organizational meeting.

Agenda item 7.1: The board moved to designate a local daily newspaper (office listed at 390 Eagle View Boulevard, Exton, PA) as the district’s newspaper of general circulation for required public notices under Section 106 of the Public School Code and Board Policy No. 005. The motion was seconded and passed by voice vote, recorded as 8-0 in favor.

Agenda item 8.1: The board addressed the vacancy on the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) board caused by the expiration of Mr. Hellrung’s term in June 2026. A board member offered to serve and a motion to appoint that member for the remainder of the term was seconded and passed 8-0. The president noted he had received paperwork from the outgoing representative and will follow up to complete required forms.

The presiding officer said that with those votes completed “that ends our voting business.” The meeting then moved to brief remarks by new members and adjournment.
