Staff said the middle school rollout is planned for October once after‑school clubs begin.
Officials acknowledged operational challenges. Unidentified Speaker 3 noted uncertainty about daily ridership and routing logistics, explaining the district may rely on students naming bus stops rather than addresses and may trial community pick‑up locations such as parks. The administration said they will refine routes by trial and error and asked the community for patience during early operations.
Unidentified Speaker 3 said information will be distributed at upcoming back‑to‑school nights and that parents will be notified about the service and opt‑in/participation details once plans are finalized. Committee members suggested soliciting volunteer drivers and coordinating with local organizations to support the pilot.
