In addition, the commissioners moved and approved a $52,396.80 payment for December bills for the juvenile detention center.
All motions were moved, seconded and carried by voice vote during the meeting; the clerk called for ayes and the motions passed.
Board members voiced additional routine business that included approving a five-year lease for juvenile court tenant space (monthly starting at $2,700 for 2026) and accepting a memorandum of agreement with Fayette County for jail services, which referenced a per-inmate charge discussed in the meeting.
The meeting concluded after approval of appointments and routine items and the board adjourned.
