The commission voted to waive competitive bidding and approved an annual Peopleware agreement with Computer Information Concepts (CIC) of Greeley, Colorado, for $46,820 (an increase of $790 over 2025), to be paid from the Courthouse General Contractual line item.
Personnel actions included approval of a CP2 payroll notice for Casey Perree, changing classification and wage from $26.71 to $30.30 effective Dec. 16, 2025. The board also approved Road & Bridge purchases under Sourcewell municipal pricing: two additional 2025 Bush Hog wing rotary cutters for $53,100 (funded from General Fund public works equipment) and a 60-inch Diamond mulcher from Murphy Tractor & Equipment for $26,500.
The commission approved a Federal-aid construction engineering inspection agreement with KDOT for project number 16C-5348-01 to replace County Bridge 2 (described as 5.5 miles east and 0.8 miles north of Levo, Kansas). Commissioners also authorized entering a 15-minute executive session to discuss non-elected personnel job performance under the Kansas Open Meetings Act (KSA 75-4319(b)(1)).
All motions recorded in the meeting were carried by voice vote; the meeting transcript records the standard voice tally of "All in favor, say aye," followed by "Aye. Motion carries."
