Science Hill student leaders presented a new centralized Student Hub and asked the Johnson City School Board to note the tool's rollout to the school community.

"We are proud to introduce the student hub...a centralized digital platform now accessible through Canvas homepage for every student at Science Hill," said Hannah Ellington, vice president of the Student Government Association. President Akshay Vashist said the hub will consolidate information for "2,400 plus students" and nearly 100 student organizations to reduce confusion and increase participation.

Also during the meeting, Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Keller and Cadet Command Sergeant Major Gage Blankenship described the Army Junior ROTC battalion at Science Hill, its company structure and community activities. "Our drill, color guard, marksmanship, fitness, and academic teams spend countless hours practicing," Keller said, adding the program has earned "two consecutive national titles." He highlighted partnerships such as monthly food distributions with VFW Post 2108 and the program's role as a "leadership laboratory" for students.

District and school staff present described the Student Hub as an administrative collaboration to improve communication and access to the student handbook, club meeting times, schedules, athletic information and scholarship opportunities. Board members offered thanks and no formal action was taken; the presentations were informational.
